S&OP: Is Your President Engaged
Here the author describes key steps that are necessary to keep the CEO engaged in the S&OP process including making sure that he/she knows what S&OP is and why it is needed; why it is important for him/her to attend meetings; keeping each meeting’s discussion well within the agenda; and after the process is on track for three to four months, bring to the attention of the CEO benefits that were achieved from it.
