IBF chapters bring together local forecasting, demand planning and S&OP professionals to exchange knowledge, network and advance the field. Chapter meetings are hosted periodically with expert speakers sharing insight into the latest topics, techniques and developments.

Benefits of Becoming an IBF Chapter Member:

  • At every IBF Chapter meeting, an industry expert will speak on popular demand planning topics including S&OP, New Item Forecasting, Consensus Processes, Change Management, Analytics, Big Data and others. By focusing on these emerging techniques and best practices, you will have the opportunity to stay ahead of the industry learning curve.
  • Networking is a major objective of the Chapter. Time will be set aside for networking at every chapter meeting, and you will be encouraged to meet other professionals in the field and share experiences.
  • Any CPF or ACPF who attends a Boston Chapter meeting will gain one point towards their re-certification.
  • Start Your Own Chapter By Hosting A Meetup

The best way to start your own Chapter is to host a Meetup. To host a Meetup, all you need to do is to provide company meeting space at your office or another location and recommend a speaker - either yourself and/or a colleague at the company. Companies typically use their own office space, making Meetups low cost and easy to arrange. IBF will reach out to its vast network and bring local professionals to the event, whichever country you are in.
