Events
I am new to forecasting and planning. Which event should I attend first?
All IBF events offer value for forecasters and planners at every experience level. Our Tutorials and Immersive Trainings are ideal for structured skill development and are designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced practitioners. Our Conferences feature real-world case studies from leading companies, offering practical insights for all attendees.
What is the difference between Tutorials and Conferences?
Tutorials provide formal, hands-on training in forecasting and planning in a classroom-style setting and are led by recognized industry thought leaders. Access is currently exclusive to IBF members.
Conferences feature practitioner-led presentations, case studies, panels, roundtables, and networking opportunities focused on real-world applications.

Candidates must have either a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or at least two years of professional experience in forecasting and planning. Documentation must be provided before exam scores are released.

What additional preparation options are available?
In addition to self-study, candidates may enroll in the CPF Review Course. The Fundamentals of Demand Planning & Forecasting Tutorial and the Demand Planning, Forecasting & S&OP/IBP Online Training Course are also effective preparation tools.

You have one calendar year from the registration date to complete the exams.
