Investment-Led Growth Transforms Stagnation to Potential Trend
In our global forecast in the first quarter of this year, we referred to the 10-year failed policies for stimulating investment as a “stagnation” epoch, which “seems to reach a turning point in 2017, based on evidence from factual forward-looking investment predictive analytics.” Specifically, we noticed that capital expenditures in many countries were “expected to be higher in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the first quarter of 2017.”
