The inaugural IBF Bluegrass Meet-up for S&OP or IBP, demand planning, supply chain, forecasting, and data science professionals. This will be an informal meet-up to connect with local professionals in the Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati area interested in networking and developing their careers.

It will be hosted by Buffalo Trace Distillery in their beautiful clubhouse.

There is no charge for attending.

These meet-ups are always fun. There’s no formal agenda. Just turn up, we’ll greet you and introduce you to the movers and shakers in the field. It’s a unique opportunity to talk to the people who can help drive your career and company success, all in a friendly setting. People from the biggest companies come to our events to swap ideas and network.

  • 6:30pm - 8:00pm: Brief presentation from IBF thought leader Eric Wilson on the future workforce in supply chain and demand planning
  • 6:30pm - 8:00pm: Time will be set aside and excellent networking opportunity

Eric is a predictive analytics and business planning innovator, author, and speaker. He is the Director of Thought Leadership at the IBF. Prior to this he worked as the Director of Demand Planning at Escalade Sports, Director of Demand Planning at Berry Plastics, and Director of Demand Planning & S&OP at Tempur Sealy International. In 2016, he received the Excellence in Business Forecasting & Planning award from the IBF. He is an IBF Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) with over 20 years of experience. Eric is a visionary in his field, a frequent speaker and panelist for many executive forums and professional conferences, and has written numerous articles in publications such as The Journal of Business Forecasting and APICS Magazine. He is also the author of the book Cultural Cycles.
