Director of Integrated Business Planning
Richard Herrin is the Director of Integrated Business Planning for GEON Performance Solutions. Richard has accountability for aligning the Integrated Business planning capabilities across all GEON businesses. Richard joined GEON in 2021, bringing 35 years of Integrated Business Planning experience. Most recently, he was the Integrated Business Planning Center of Excellence Leader for Eastman Chemical Company and has been consulting on implementing best practices in IBP through Ultra Consulting, RGP and CSC. Prior to consulting, Richard worked at Beaulieu America as the VP of Operations and Planning, at Axiall Corporation as the Director of Supply Chain Management, at Tredegar Films as the Global Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning Lead, and at Syngenta Crop Protection as the Head of S&OP and Strategic Planning. Richard holds bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. He is also a Certified Professional Forecaster with the Institute of Business Forecasting.

Zephaniah is a financial professional with over twenty years of accounting and financial management experience. He currently leads the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function of the Nigeria operation of British Council, the UK’s international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities, with operations in over 100 countries. Prior to this, he led a Business Intelligence think-tank group for British Council Nigeria. He is a certified Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst with the CFI Canada, an Associate Chartered Accountant with ICAN Nigeria, and holds a degree in Accounting.

Vijay is a Strategic Analytics and AI leader who currently heads the data science practice at the Finance Data & Analytics Center of Excellence at Bell Canada. He leads a team of data scientists and analytics professionals who develop intelligent forecasting products in finance. The Center of Excellence drives the finance transformation at Bell using digital tools for AI and automation. Before Bell Vijay worked at a leading marketing and advertising agency and prior to that he worked for leading telcos and consulting companies in Canada and the U.S. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is also a member of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).

Dean Sorensen is the founder of the IBP Collaborative, a consultancy that helps organizations integrate strategic, financial and operational planning and performance management processes as a means to manage complexity, reduce costs and drive profitable growth. He has deep experience with rolling forecasts, IBP, balanced scorecards, activity-based costing, and other FP&A processes and solutions. Previously, Dean held positions with AT Kearney, Accenture and KPMG where he focused on strategic services and finance and performance management. He is a Chartered Accountant in Canada, holding a degree in BBA, Finance and Accounting from York University, Toronto.

Mark is a long-time affiliate of the Institute of Business Forecasting, having served in advisory roles and delivering training to many companies worldwide. He is the recipient of IBF's 2016 Lifetime Achievement in Business Forecasting & Planning Award. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics, and graduate degrees in Economics, Finance, and Accounting from Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville), Washington University (St. Louis), Boston College, and Bentley College. He is an IBF Advanced Certified Professional Forecaster (ACPF).

Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to the event are subject to a $195 (USD) service charge. However, the fee is waived if a credit is selected. For cancellations made on the event date or thereafter, a credit will be applied, no refunds. If you have received training material for the event, then regardless of time before the event, only a credit will be given, no refunds. Furthermore, if your package includes IBF Membership, membership is non-refundable. Therefore any approved refunds that include IBF Membership will be returned minus IBF Membership at the advertised price.
