AI advice for planning leaders is everywhere. Some of it is useful. Some of it is a half-truth dressed up as a breakthrough. And some of it is simply wrong. In this IBF Town Hall, seasoned planning practitioners will cut through the claims and talk candidly about what AI can do today, where it falls short, and the mistakes they see organizations making. Expect a practical discussion grounded in real planning experience, with clear guidance on which claims deserve your attention, which need closer scrutiny, and which you can safely ignore.

You will learn:
  • How to spot AI claims that sound convincing but overlook the realities of demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP/IBP
  • Where AI can help planning teams today, and where human judgment, process, and accountability still matter
  • The dangers of building processes from what AI telling you
