The Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning has established the Business Forecasting & Planning Recognition awards to recognize the best and most innovative thought leaders, solutions and ideas in the field.

"When I learned that I was the 2021 Excellence award winner, I was very humbled. Previous winners are some of the most talented and innovative practitioners and thought leaders in the Demand Planning and S&OP space, and it is truly an amazing honor. My journey with the IBF has been extraordinarily rewarding. First off, growing the IBF NY Metro Chapter and bringing together hundreds of demand planning and supply chain professionals to share knowledge, develop careers, and advance the field has been an amazing experience, and I hope I was able to share half as much as I’ve learned. But what I value the most is the relationships with IBF members and the ability to give and receive advice. Whether it is managing specific aspects of demand planning or general career advice, we can always count on each other for insights, which is one of the many things that make this organization truly special. Thanks to Anish, Dr. Jain and Stephanie for the opportunity to be a part of this organization and for this honor."
